Watching some races ?

Hey all,

I was thinking of taking my dad and the rest of the family
up to Louden to check out some racing Sunday.
Believe it or not I have never been! Plus on Father's Day
I'm supposed to get to do what I want right ?

Is this weekend more expensive ? Just trying to see
if there is a way to make it less costly?
Do they have discount passes?

Racing begins at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and runs through Sunday, with 13 races on each day. Grandstand and infield tickets are $10 each day, or $50 for the weekend, including camping Friday and Saturday nights. Children 11 and under will be admitted to the grandstand area at no charge with infield access available for $10 each day. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.

So basically you can get day pit passes for 10 bucks.

Wife and the rest dont seem hard core enough for much more
than a few hours!

25 bucks for the weekend is for normal weekends. I think the 10 dollar day passes are just for the classic to get people in that would balk at the 25 bucks (like you guys)

don't forget to bring sunscreen and maybe an umbrella to keep the sun off it is supposed to be hot and there is little shade in the grandstands.

Haha didnt mean that, if I wasnt racing I wouldnt pay 25 bucks to go see it either.
Probably wouldnt be a bad idea to print out a copy of the article about the 10 dollar pit pass though, itd suck to get up there and find out thats not what they "meant" or some stupid shit like that.
