good news from the orthopedic yesterday, I don't need surgery!!! I have been out of the sling all day and am using my right arm... getting better daily and will be getting back to my old friend Gym tomorrow for some much needed cardio... now to fix the Trumpet up after the beating i gave her

Had a guy come over to look at my Hawk racebike, he has a 15 y/o son that is racing dirrt and did his first trackday LAST year. Seems pretty legit as a "talent" He tried to get into the red bull rookie cup.

I figure maybe you need a "B" team... I can put you in touch....

People can post all the meaningless crap they want, it should really be in the off-topic section though, not the pit area. Anyweay, I have given up trimming this thread to remove the crap and just let it go now.

LOL, I have had absolutely nothing to do with any sponsorship that Denno has got except for having some input into how the letters should be worded. I'm the general helping-hand guy, that's all. I'm there to change wheels, help on the mechanical side of things and 'coach' Denno. I have, however seen the contracts, and while one or two are the usual contingency type stuff with a few percent off, some of them are very very nice deals. Before you ask, all sponsorship contracts are strictly confidential. I am told that we have more irons in the fire, too. You never know, we might get a couple more sponsors.

...And 500 other kids tried to get into the red bull cup, too. Seriously, there is NO WAY I would be involved in a racing team with a 15 year old kid. Not because I wouldn't love to see that kind of young talent do well, but because you have to a: deal with the parents interfering, and b: deal with the guilt if a young 'child' got hurt on the track.

Yes it is. He didn't end up buying it (I think he should get an SV) but he seemed like a great guy and we know alot of the same People (case in point)

not bitter. i just see a lot more deserving people out there. there are A LOT of really fast guys on NESR that could use a "little help" to take them to the next level.
i hope he proves me wrong.....
the whole stroking dennis ego thing is getting old....thats all. hes picked a difficult class to try and blast through to get to expert and i think the whole thing is going to be an eye opener.
no one is handing over new bikes for Jamie or Ryan Nicolson to race and they have proven themselves to worthy of some "sponsorship".
