I started the season off great this weekend, running same times as I ended with last year and felt great.
I got some tuning issues straightened out from Robs Dyno right before my race in MW SS.
Rob downloaded a great map which gave me more midrange poer that I was lacking and I didn't get a chance to test the bike out in practice....went right into my race and all that midrange power sent me highsiding in turn 4 in the 2nd lap.
I fractured my pelvis, got some stitches in my arm and overall got slammed like Onyx back in the day.
Looks like I have a good 6-8 weeks before healed up. Going to the Orthopedic tomorrow for a better scan and MRI. X-Rays today though showed the fracture.
Sux, hurts like hell and I was off to a great start for 2009.

Sorry to hear that dude.... I was the guy standing there with you while rob was setting it up. I think I learned a lesson at your expense today - Don't push a new set-up until I've had a chance to "test". The bike didn't look too bad at least. Best of luck with the Ortho and get well.

Damn it. I was right behind you when it happened. It looked like it hurt. I went looking for you afterwards with no such luck. Glad your "somewhat" ok and on the way to recovery. Be sure and make the next weekend to tell me how much of p*ssy I'm being out there.
