    Happy B-Day you old shit!!!! It was a nice turn 1 warm up lap crash (kinda like Scott's cool down lap crash)
    Only kidding, it happened after the start going into turn 1 and as Lew tells the story "I got the best start of my life..... I came from the last row (15) and was in first place then all of a sudden I was on my back."

    Happy Birthday Lew!!

    Thanks guys...I'm 34 today.

    As for what happened.......I got a good start, and felt a little balsier than usual (need points to bump), so I went a little further into the pack before I started to turn in to 1.
    I remember thinking "Wow 2nd, 3rd place...Nice job LEW".....The very next thing I recall, was waking up in the grass, and trying to stand up, which was a real task at the moment. The next thought was "where the hell am I" and "why is there dirt in my mouth and eyes???"

    The cornerworkers were nice enough to remind me that I was on T1 in Loudon???



    Right now...I am soor as hell, and all day I had the worst damned headache. Though~ the headache is gone, due to the fumes in the basement generated from the resin......I am fixing my plastics.

    Good for you Lew. Funny thing is you crashed on Sunday and your fixing your plastic already. Both Mike and Jeward just used duct tape to fix their stuff that was crashed since day 1.... so here we are coming to the last weekend and they are still using duct tape for repair work.

    Let me correct you on this........My bike is not held together with duct tape!! When I crash I am nice to my bike and only scratch the bodywork! Plus it was hard to fix it with one arm.

    Wait till you need yours fixed....I am just going to give you a roll of duct tape!!
