Just curious to see who will be there. It will be my first time doing an open test day at Loudon.

I wish I was. I showed up mid day Thursday last round and there were literally 5 bikes per session on track. Awesome deal for a ton of open track time, I'm jelly.
You just got your red numbers, right? Racing in middleweight?
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Just got my yellow number plate :-)
My buddy that you duked it out with in the rookie race will be back...and he brought his brother this time
I have a motard and a middleweight bike. It seemed like you can change your registration day-of without penalty, so I put in a registration for the races below Sunday night to avoid the late fee & track fee. I figured I can get some tips while at the track on what would be good to run before finalizing registration Fri or Sat.
For instance, I thought about doing the GTU to get a ton of seat time, but that is right before supersingles, and no way I could do those back-to-back and taking out supersingles would take my motarding down to 1-2 races. Then I remembered my fatass hasn't done anything physical besides track days in months anyways.
I may cut out the sunday afternoon riding to save some dough and time, but motard is literally the last race of the weekend, and I've been keen on riding with a bunch of thumpers.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard this type of statement over the last 14 years from those who didn't have the ability or the patience to learn how to go fast at NHMS ... I could afford to buy a new set of Dunlops ... the UK version.
I respect your choice to travel to, and enjoy, other tracks (I've done so too). But there is no reason to do it at the expense of NHMS. If NHMS is too tight and technical for you, don't call it a "shitty track" ... just say something like "I prefer to ride more open and flowing tracks."

Just in case anyone didn't know: You must have a racing license to get on the track for Thursday Testing.
