$50 off of what?

$50 off racer pricing.
Hmmmmmmmm.......
I understand that genius. Perhaps if you took your time to actually think about what I was asking you'd understand the question more.
If I asked $50 off of what, that means I would have only read HALF of the sentence. Since you clearly make a statement about my "reading abilities"
If perhaps my question was directed more to " $50 off of what" as in " $50 off of what price ?"
Don't think too much over there big guy
Is there a coupon code for this? Or should I just try and fund youse Thursday nite or Friday morning? I could make my way to raynham or Taunton this week if that'd work out better.

$50 off racer price, which is the retail price for DOT or SLICK tires in the BM Store (for Continentals).
No coupon code as of yet however one will be setup prior to the weekend. Come see us Thurs, or Friday... our tires will be arriving to the track on Thursday.
This is good for any newly licensed racer on any weekend![]()
One other question, I will be doing Penguin on 8/6, do we need to present our license to get the racer discount? Not sure when you get the license before or after the rookie race.
I would like to have some fresh rubber for my first race.
I do like the Pirelli rubber though. Hopefully, you'll have some left by then, but I'm not holding my breath.

Ah. Ok. No problem. Here's the scoop. Go to www.bostonmoto.com and click the link for the online shop. Once in the shop you can peruse the race tires by brand, type and size and see the price by adding them to the shopping cart. The price at the track for new penguin race license holders will be $50 off that price. We have almost all the size/compound combos in Continentals and some pirellis left over.
OK, I see that there is some confusion here... Degs is a confused old man.
In the shop, you *should* see a "Retail" price and a "Sale" price (the Retail price is the crossed out price). Retail = "Racer Net" pricing. We are running a sale for the start of the year, Sale Pricing = Team Conti (sponsored rider) pricing. Our beginning of the season sale will end after the first race weekend. Pricing after the first race weekend will be racer net across the board.
* = $50 off for Penguin students is off Retail / Racer Net Pricing, which will get you below our sale pricing and is obviously limited to newly licensed riders and 1 set per customer.
Here's the break down.
Set Pricing - ContiRaceAttack Competition:
Retail / Racer Net 120/160 - $345*
Sale / TeamConti 120/160 - $320
Retail / Racer Net 120/180 - $360*
Sale / TeamConti 120/180 - $335
Retail / Racer Net 120/190 - $377*
Sale / TeamConti 120/190 - $350
Set Pricing - ContiRaceAttack Slick:
Retail / Racer Net 120/180 - $378*
Sale / TeamConti 120/180 - $351
Retail / Racer Net 120/190 - $396*
Sale / TeamConti 120/190 - $368
Also, I have received many calls about the Contingency program, again to clarify Continental's 2010 contingency for LRRS is as follows:
# 1st place - $100
# 2nd place - $50
# 3rd place - $40
# 4th place - $30
Payouts are for the top four positions, expert or novice, in ANY race, ANY class, REGARDLESS of how many racers take the starting grid. This includes Vintage classes like production twins..
Boston Moto is responsible for contingency payouts, once results are posted and final (so we can confirm with race control), we can hand you a tire certificate the same day. No waiting for a card to be charged, no waiting days or weeks to verify results.
The ONLY stipulation regarding contingency eligibility is payouts will only be given out to riders who purchased their tires through Boston Moto.
Hmmm. you guys are killing me.. I have 2 sets of Pirelli's already but they wont pay me $$$ for anything...assuming I even finish...LOL
Does one need to sign up anywhere for this or is it through you guys and you keep track of it all?
If you like the Pirelli rubber, you'll like the Contis... they feel pretty similar once you soften the bike up a bit, and they last oh-so-much-longer
Sell what you have to some track day riders
Since it's every rider, every class there's no sign-up as in registering online or anything. You will need to list Boston Moto and Continental Tires as sponsors, and include the appropriate (fender / side) stickers on your bike. We will be coordinating with Tech inspection to ensure they have any paperwork they need, and we'll have the stickers for you.
OK, sorry to say this but we have been contacted by the track out of the blue to 'remind' us that we cannot sell Pirelli tires at the track during a race weekend.
We don't know where the line is drawn here. We only know that we have a stack of Pirelli race rubber that we need to sell. We aren't sure where we are supposed to sell race tires other than a race track but there you go. Our aim is not to question the rules, just to deal with them.
We need these tires gone. What we have left and prices will be listed here today after we inventory. Order them through the store and we will get them to you somehow, just not at the track. After that, it's up to you. I presume any of the tire vendors will be able to mount them for $10 or so. Not sure if we are allowed to mount them at the track after we sell them somewhere other than the track.
The Boston Moto Team.
So it's okay to directly target and attempt to undercut another business's customers but not okay to post relevant information from original business to it's targeted customers in this thread? You didn't say "NEW RACERS TIRE DEALS" you said specifically Penguin School students. Who's next on the ad campaign? Tony? LAPS?
You guys are wild. Maybe Penguin should run a campaign like 'Half off a School for anyone that signs up for a Boston Moto trackday'. Sure you guys would love that.
Nice work on the post deletion. Don't let facts get in the way of a good sales pitch!
Good luck!
