    Re: Who's ready

Found it yesterday. My 'unofficial' sponser had some in house. Now I need to apply it and throw some numbers on.

New drivetrain is close to done.

Little more safety wiring and I'm done.

Parts Unlimited carries a supplier by the name of "FX Works" or something close to that name.

You can get 3 large rectangle sheets of the stuff for like 16 bux. They also offer pre-cut but I think it's mostly for dirt bike applications.

I can have some ordered up for ya just gotta let me know asap.

    Re: Who's ready

    Still need to...

    Bleed the brakes and clutch
    Torque and safety wire everything!
Find out why my starter does not disengage when the bike starts.
    Relocate and mount the battery
Flash the ECU if I knew someone that could...
Mount the tank and body work.

I know I am missing something... most likely will need new tires and other odds and ends before the late may races...

All this is just for the track days! I can't make the races!

    Ok. Now I'm ready :-)

Packing up and loading tomorrow for late departure Thursday. Don't want to drop a fricken $100 on three practice sessions, but I'm going to have to do it.

    Re: Who's ready

Looks like I won't be safety wired before Friday, so... if anyone's up for a safety wire party Friday night after Penguin, I'd be up for assistance. Fortunately the GS is an air cooled motor, not much to wire. : )

I'm ready, swapped the numbers and I'll wash the bike tomorrow(technically later today) and I'll be all set! I think.

Does it involve drilling? If it's just wiring, that should just take a couple minutes.

I'll help do some wiring friday night, even if its drilling a couple of guys can do it in a pretty reasonable amount of time.
