i think that was a husky failure not ktm .... food for thought we have seen a few motor failures this season in our stable and it was possibly caused by fuel detination has anyone had any motor issues running vp 93 in a mostly stock motor?? i know my rmz-450 has ran mint all season and so has the supersport sv......

Yup...that was a Husky 510. Joel was due for and planning a rebuild after the last TTD and only made it through half of the 2nd day.

I ran 2 days of pump 93 before I switched to VP and my KTM seems to be running great (better) on the VP.

As Ox said it was caught before it did any more damage.

Bike is a Husky 510. As Puppet mentioned I was fully expecting a motor rebuild before this next race weekend. The motor has around 55 to 60 hours on it, with alot of it being racing/track day abuse so I dont think it did too poorly. Hopefully all the parts show up on time and the motor is back together so I can come up there and race with you boys this weekend. Even if they dont show up and I cant race you will probably see me anyhow.

Beet, what the heck are you going to do with a bunch of Motard parts???? The TL is still alive and running well (I think, I haven't ridden it in a long time)

Evil_weasel, back off man the body isn't even cold and you're scavenging for vital organs....... man show a little compasion will ya! (though I must say, that motor in a lightweight roadracing chassis would probably be really fun for you guys that aren't quite so weight challenged!)
