I'm on ESP. No location display.
What dis you do to adjust it? You should adjust it in 1/6 turn increments while it is running.
Did you try to adjust the factory CCT or do you have the APE CCT? If he tried to "adjust" the OEM one then he most likely backed out 2 bolts and waited for the spring to hop to the next open position and then tighten it back up. I'd say go get a manual one and tighten it in 1/6 turn intervals
What FZR said...OEM CCT or aftermarket manual CCT?
If OEM, you should pull the CCT and inspect for damage. Replace per factory specs: 6 (IIRC) teeth showing, rotate crank by hand 2x for spring to set proper tension.
I personally prefer to run the OEM tensioners, but sometimes they do need replacing if they don't self-adjust properly.
I have the OEM factory, riding season is over for me so maybe i will get an APE. I would like to try and get this fixed though as i have alot going on with the the bike project wise and dont want to be thinking about this all the time, I guess ill pull it out cough tonight and see if i can reset to stock setting
Or have Degsy do itlol.
haha I PMed....not sure where they are
this better not be a preview of hats in store for the rest of the bike
