Anyone do small machinining work here..?

Hey kids... I'm looking for someone local who does machining and lathe work for a project of mine.

I'm fitting a 900rr rear rim (5.5" wide) on my F2 (stock rear rim size is 4.5")

So I bought a vf500 hub for the lower profile and took out the studs to be replaced with bolts for even more lower profile..

pic to show what I'm talking about...

f2 hub on left... vf500 hub on right...

with studs removed and bolts put in with sprocket...

Obviously I have to move the sprocket inward a bit to re-align it with the front sprocket and chain and with the wheel centered.

So I tried putting it all together with the rear caliper bracket and the hub... its too tight and need to machine down the hub to create some more space and have enough room for spacers as well..

so luckily there is a guy in Europe who had the same plan as me... putting a 900rr rear rim on an F2... and he drew up detailed PDFs of his plans...

    look here...
    http://racebiketuning.com/cbr600f2-e...ort-race-bike/

He is from Europe so understanding what he is saying is kinda hard because his english writing skills suck...lol.. but.. from what I can gather.. I need to machine the face of the hub (where the sprocket sits against) down to 20.2 mm in height.. and a overall hub height of 44.7 mm

and then I just need the two spacers for left and right sides and I'll be good to go..

So... my question to you guys is... does anyone here do small machining jobs..? Or know someone that does..?

I have a machinist friend from another forum (customfighters.com rocks!!) but his work que is full at the moment and I'd rather save the money on shipping the pieces back and forth. He quoted me $30 to machine the hub (minus the shipping costs) so anywhere from there to $50 would be great to have it done with the spacers.

    Thanks!

    Kaz

See if Tricky Mike would have interest in this. He's got a pretty good set up going and his pricing won't break the bank.

I hear there is this tricky mike guy on here that can do that shit. He sometimes just looks at things and they get scared and morph into what he's thinking.
