I know MCWHEEL.com does this and they moved the business to AZ. Is there any local New England wheel repair services? My R1 has a slight pot-hole blem on the front wheel. Tires run true but you can see with you naked eye the lip has been put through some bending stress.
Seems to be a bit of question on whether you can you straighten a magnesium rim that come on the stock R1's? Anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks

I had a car wheel straightened by a guy in Fall River a while back, not sure if he does bikes or not. I think it was about $100. I could dig up his info if that is of interest.
It's been a few years now. But I think it was $60. He often has specials that if you send 2 wheels, the other one is 1/2 off. He also straightens rotors for $10/each.
I used a computer box to ship them and was able to use the styrofoam to keep the wheels in place.
Fed-ex shopping was around $30.

In case i wanted to sell down the road, is there any documentation proof of straightness etc?
After Jim's recommendation of Will's Rim Repair, I did a bit of digging and found many many people very happy with his service. Seems to be a small operation with the right equipment. I like the idea of giving my business to 'the little guy who does it right', so Ill be sending him 2 Ducati wheels in the next month or so......for a set of rain wheels for next year!
(And I think hes pricing out at 75 per wheel currently, but I could be mis-remembering)
