Anyone know where a guy could pick up an aux tank for tuning on short notice. You guys think that you could pick up that kind of thing from some place other than Motion pro, or is it something you could make yourself fairly quickly. I've never actually seen one before.

what did you use to seal the hose with the bottle and for a shut off valve?

I had a cap from and oil bottle with a nozzle. I didn't have a shut off valve. Simply lower the bottle and turn it right side up. It isn't the best but it doesn't leak and works well. It's a 20oz soda bottle too nothing bigger. I've also seen it done with the quart oil containers too.![]()
I was going to post that i used a Poland Springs bottle but figured no one would agree with it being a good way to do it so I didn't. Then, along comes Sheppo to make me feel better about the idea.
Just like Sheppo said, anything that will thread on to the bottle and you can attach the fuel hose to. I know Advance Auto Parts has a whole rack of fittings and couplings for fuel lines etc. I am sure you can cobble something out of the stuff they offer.
I wouldn't recommend keeping it filled in the garage very long but in a pinch it'll work for you and as long as you dump it for storage it should work anytime you need it.
Yeah I've already learned what happens when you keep fuel in soda bottles for any length of time. It takes a few weeks for K1 to eat through a powerade bottle.

Water bottle may not work for more than minutes.
Be careful. I'd suggest an oil bottle to be safest.
