    Ducati Clutch question

    i have a 02 ST2. it was acting fine all day until i decided to run out to petco. the clutch started grabbing way before it ever has to the point where i kept stalling and once i got rolling the bike would shake until about 10mph and then every other gear was fine. any ideas? sometimes it would go back to its normal grabbing spot but still shake

    Is the shake like a shudder and do you hear a groan type noise?

    it was fine when i started off from my apartment, i went maybe 10 minutes down some back roads came to a stop sign and it starting acting funny and stayed that way all the way to petco and home i maybe stopped 6 times on the hour trip there and back

    Dry clutch right? Any weird noises with the clutch in?

    yup its a dry clutch, everything sounds normal with it pulled and out.

    Well. If the clutch is grabbing early I would check the master cylinder and the slave and the clutch rod and plates.

    But I bet you need a new clutch. Sounds like clutch "judder"

    i just dropped it off at the guy who does all the work for me and he thinks it needs a new clutch seeing how it has 31k on it lol. thanks for the help doc

    Try bleeding the master and the slave first, could have a little air
