    Buying D.I.D. Chain Help

I am switching gears on my bike and bought a new Vortex Aluminum sprocket for this, and and thought it would be a good idea to get a new chain also.

Where is the best place to buy one? I am thinking DID 530 VM Series Gold X-ring Motorcycle Chain...recomendations?

I have 530 chain Vortex sprockets on my bike now.

    Thanks all!!!!

Sprocket Center , you squirrelly kid you with the fucking aluminum. Why not use Play-Doh? You'll get more mileage out of it!

answer to your question... butta-bing mofo!

I bought it thinking I was going to resprocket my old bike... then I bought a new bike before using the sprockets and chain.

    I have a D.I.D. ERV525 chain w/ 15K on it and it's hardly ever stretched.

I got mine at indysuperbikes.com for decent money. Here's the link for the 530 chain. (A.K.A. an aircraft carrier chain):

DID ER Series Exclusive Racing Chain - 530ERV - Indysuperbikes

p.s. Why did you buy an aluminum sprocket?

There isn't much available for a Buell chain conversion.

    Re: Buying D.I.D. Chain Help

Buells do Not come out of the factory with chains, so there are very limited suppliers, Vortex has at least a few selections for me to choose from., and they don't cost all that much. considering the costs of other chain kits anyways

I just went up 3 teeth in the rear and was not sure it would work with the adjuster I have, Wasn't sure if there was enough edjustment. There is! Torque Monster now....

Now I want to run a new chain on this set up as it required another link, When I switch gearing the chain will follow.

************Nilez - which chain do you have and what do you want for it? Keep in mind I am one Cheap ass Mo-Fo!!!!

For the Buel you could have easily got away with a quality 520 set-up without any fear of failure. It means saving a couple lbs. of rotating mass.
