They tell you bring the bike in on your scheduled appointment--expect a call in the afternoon to pick it up. Get a call that afternoon- "didnt get to it, will call 2morrow afternoon when its ready"...the next day--same shit..the next day same shit...
here we are a week later 2morrow and i havent even recieved a call on the status of my bike the past two days. Bike is getting a valve adjustment not a complete overhaul. ABSOLUTLY RIDICULOUS.
CLEARLY they take advantage of the one of few to service aprilla, bmw, husky, ducati in the area (MASS). Can't wait for some college kid to step up and put 'em outta buisness.
Dealing with shit like this from dealers motivated me to go out and buy the shop manual for my bike, I've learned a lot by doing the shit myself. In fact it was the time I needed a valve adjustment (many years ago) which pushed me over the edge and I convinced myself that I could turn the wrenches myself. I received the same run around from a dealer, drop the bike off, it sat for 2 weeks while not being touched "we'll get to it tomorrow, your 1st on the schedule... blah blah blah" Gimme the bike back I'll just do it myself.
I feel your pain man, good luck.
I get offended by people who cry they've been offended

What kind of bike?
Got the manual? Bring it over, we'll do it in my garage

My friends 848 has been there for close to 2 months waiting for warranty work, last year it sat there for 3 months for the same problem!!
It has done about 40 miles since the first breakdown last July!
Full discosure, it is a trackbike, but....
His patience is wearing thin!!
there's only two cylinders, how hard could it be???
I do all my own wrenching for this purpose, and that I'm pretty cheap. Also a reason that I don't own a duck.
