So i put the new clutch cable on and road for a little bit to break it in. then i started to push the bike and next thing i know the bike was jumping out of gear. under hard acceleration in second gear it'll be climbing up to about 8-9k and the bike will come out into neutral. this has happened about 3 times. Could this just be from the new cable breaking in?(fingers crossed) or is this a larger issue?
If you're popping out of gear, it's probably not a clutch cableSounds like shift forks or whatever the part is that holds the gear in the transmission?

do you have the proper amount of freeplay in the cable? did you have this problem before you changed the cable? freeplay should be enough to put the edge of a nickel between the lever and the perch without pulling on the cable
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

well the perch isnt exactly the best but there's more than enough free play right now.
