Winterizing Tips (again)

Figured this may be of help since winter is inexorably marching this way. Especially for those who havent winterized in the past. Tell ya the truth, I havent winterized in years; I ride as long as the streets are clear, etc. But for most thats not an option. The link also contains a link to places that offer storage.

I'm not sure what a glass case of emotion is, exactly....how the hell does someone hide in a glass case, anyhow?

I rode at least a couple of times each month last winter, but it was pretty mild. Maybe I will winterize this year.

Fill tank with fuel. Add stabilizer. Ride round the block. Lube chain, pull battery, spray the fuck out of the bike with wd-40 for good luck. Park, cover, keep battery in a warm dry place.

Wait till snow stops (or not), install studded tires and track/rashed plastics (if relevant), ride the piss out of it you pussy! :banana:

Word, I usually don't do any of the above cuz i got's the heated gear yo. I used to ride year round when i lived in Boston and work was 9 miles and 1 hour by car, or 20 minutes by bike. lane splitting like it was my job.
