I am in need of someone that can pull dents and refinish the tank I so nicely banged up from my accident. I don't know any body in the field, at least ones that have played with bike tanks. I don't want to fill the large dents with bondo if someone is capable of pulling and making it close to correct. Thanks.

I'll have to see how many time I've gotta rinse that tank to ship her. I doubt UPS wants a stank tank in their truck. 140 miles each way is a bit of a hike for me to drop off. Definitely worth considering if I can ship it though, seeing how his customer reviews show he cares about the work. Thanks.

I might have a lot of tack and pulls. We'll see. I'll at least check the locals and see what happens. I've lost the end of this season unfortunately. Can't even get to use my Gerbings this year![]()

could you post a few pics of the tank? i would be willing to meet you somewhere in between to take away the shipping headaches. paying me a few bucks in fuel is going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than paying to ship a gas tank both ways..
and on a technical stand point.... i'm meticulous with pulling dents so i can assure you there will be the absolute Minimum amount of filler used to get the job done. and my turn around is pretty dang quick too.
here is a thread with a tank repair i completed with a color change paint job.http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...drics-job.html

For what it's worth, I just shipped a GSXR tank to Ohio and it was only $21
Here are some pics. It's not hopeless, just has a lot of dents and scars that may take some patience. It did fine until it slammed into the hillside backwards. Damn rocks. I can't figure out how something bent the lower seam outwards though.
