    Cylinder #1 broken spark plug fixed!

    The easy out did the trick and the job was less of a chore than expected.
    The easy out was a bit too short and it was tricky getting a spanner on it's end to rotate due to the depth of the plug tube cast into the engine's head.

    As I was starting to reach the spanner's reach limits the force needed to rotate became much easier. At first I thought the easy out had lost it's bite but after a few more turns it was obvious that the broken off spark plug threads were on their way out. The last very anxious turns were completed by hand and sure enough problem solved.

    No need to remove the head from the bike now.
    Glad that's over.
