ok so im loking to put a relay in for my hids but can figure out what size i should put it. i have a set of 10k hids not sure if that matters any help would be great thanks
An amp or watt rating for the HID's would be helpful in sourcing a suitable relay.
I would think a standard automotive 40amp relay would be plenty, almost all HIDs are 35w x 2 = 70w , not sure if or how much more the ballasts draw when starting, but if the total load is only 70w, (that's only 6 amps for a 12 volt system )even a 20amp micro relay would be plenty
