what am i supposed to run for tire pressures? i dont even know what tires they are. they are 16s btw

Which 16's are they? Some are bias ply, some are radial. That could make a big difference.

well neither tire says bias ply on it, but both recommend 42 psi cold. so does the 30ish psi change? oh and they are both metzlers

That's the only resource I can think of off the top of my head that has knowledgeable racers with actual race experience on those tires. They can also help you piece together a 17" conversion kit if you so desire.

thanks pete, the front tire is a laser, the rear doesnt look to be. i poke around on the near list, but ill probably just lurk. i doubt ill do the 17in conversion now, moneys kind of tight and i have another set of wheels with good tires still.
