as the ppl who were on bigshel's ride last sunday know- my fairing stay broke and I just ordered a new lightweight steel replacement.
it doesn't look that hard to install but I don't have any tools and I was wondering if someone could help me out. Worst case I jsut take it to a dealership but I don't want to pay for an hour of labor (or more) to do something not too difficult.
Does anyone near the Boston/Allston area have some tools and time this weekend or next week to help me out? The new fairing stay is still on the way but should arrive soon.
I'd appreciate any help- thanks!

nevermind... I found a small bicycle chain and tool kit and used the screwdriver to take it off. I took the windshield off and it made it really easy. the tiny bolts I saw didn't even have to come off and the big mounting bolts I took care of with my minimal wrench kit.
now I just have to wait for the new one to come in. oh and I also figured why the acumen gear indicator wasn't working- it was disconnected... lol.
thanks to those who offered help. I guess I underestimated the power of a small screwdriver and overestimated how difficult it would be.
