Ok... How the hell am I supposed to get this grime off of my undertail, no matter what car wash I use, or how hard and long I scrub it stays there.
2004 GSXR 600
is it grease, rubber, dirt?
Try using something like Honda Cleaner or something similar. Its a spray on, and cleans off grease, road dirt, and chain fling off like crazy. It all depends on exactly what it is thats stuck to your undertail......good luck!
Depending on the substance--> WD-40 or diluted bio-degreaser
tittywop for grime
WD40 or kerosene.
Pretty sure its just dirt thats embedded in the undertail.. It comes off the original bodywork, but not the aftermarket piece from Hotbodies.

Use a Household all purpose cleaner, then a cleaner wax, My undertail is a couple years old and other then a couple chips, it looks like it did when I got it outa the box..
Get a can of Brake cleaner from the auto parts store, spray it on a rag and wipe.
Uhhhhh, no.
Brake cleaner on paint (and possibly fiberglass)?
I'd think it would soften some of those surfaces.
Bug and Tar remover works great!!!
All-Purpose Cleaner and safe for alu also. It works on the finest film left by chain lubricants and oils.
Oh you can get it anywhere!!!

They have brake cleaner that is safe for plastic & paint.
I wouldn't use the dangerous stuff anywhere on my bike anyway.
BTW.. make sure you rinse simple green off well. It's not supposed to sit on aluminum... though few motorcycle parts are thin enough to worry about it.
I use the automotive simple green. Just don't get it on your tires or, at least, let it sit on them.
Duct tape is like "The Force". It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
Damn... I was gonna use thesmiley, but then I realized this thread is about your bike.

Johnny throw some Simple Green on there and rub it with a microfiber, should take all of it off. Then go have a few beers to cool down from the hard work![]()

I would say to try a clay bar kit, you would be amazed at what those things will pull out.
