Been having an issue lately with the bike draining a fully charged battery and not recharging. After the bike dies the battery doesn't even have enough juice to engage starter solenoid, just clicks.
Steps so far
Brand new battery
Disconnected accessory power draws (i.e. heated grips)
Tested for leakage - passed
Steps planned on doing this week
Verifying regulated voltage
Checking generator resistance
I'm fairly certain I'll be able to nail down what needs to be replaced.
Does anyone have stator or regulator/rectifier for a 2006 sitting around they want to sell on the mad cheaps?
I'll update when I know exactly which component needs replacing.
gixx power
UPDATE: faulty regulator/rectifier. Anybody have one kicking around?

Gixx power!
Can't offer much help but I've read a good amount of posts on gixxer.com with the regulators starting to go on the 06's. Not sure if it's mileage or age dependent.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)
I sold my 08 750 to ray ray but I just received a real notice for the regulator/rectifier.
Fyi
As far as I know, 08-09 were officially recalled for regulator/rectifier issues.

yea I just went on Suzuki's website and saw. Nothing officially listed for 06's. I don't have any issues yet (knock on wood) but a little concerning since I've seen a lot of people post up about it. I guess it's only a matter of time.....
Finished testing all components of the charging system. As suspected its a faulty regulator/rectifier. Does anyone have one for a 2006 GSXR 750?
