honestly for a 600 yeah - i mean there isnt going to be any real power down there and mine feels shitty below 7k - FWIW when im cruising around town im at 8k on my 2006 R6
i know your just asking and maybe there is a real problem, but i crack up when i hear my bike(4cyl 600) doesnt run well at sub 6k - i mean christ! get a v-twin or a liter bike if you ride like that!
good luck man,
Denno
i dunno, i cruise around 5, but i dont have a 600 either

It's all good guys, I'm sure she needs a little tweeking but I'm buying tires first so I'll just cruise at a higher rpm, problem solved.![]()

There shouldn't be a problem w/ cruising around at 4-6k. I used to cruise around on my ZX at 4k all day long... not a whole LOT of power down there, but it shouldn't stutter.
