I was wondering if anyone mechanically inclined was free this weekend near Burlington, MA. I had a 2004 Ninja 250 that died on me last year. I have taken a few cracks at getting it fixed to no avail. The people I talked to made it sound like it could potentially be the fuel pump but I'm not the greatest with wrenching or knowing my way around the bike.
I was just curious if anyone was free sometime this weekend to come back and help me to see if I can get it running again. I don't have a trailer or truck unfortunately so its stuck at my house.
Thanks.
It's carbeurated, so I don't think a fuel pump is the problem
I'm in Wenham MA, but work near you. I may be able to come by some night and take a crack at it.
Do you have all the fairings and what not removed?
Not right now I put it back together to store it in my basement for the time being. I can take them of though when need be.
Shoot me a pm next week.
take off the plastics and charge the battery
what do you have for tools?
I live in billerica
might be available over the weekend mornings
long ride?????
I put in a new battery when it first died on me and it still wasn't running. I have the tools that came with the bike plus whatever random assortment my dad has in the house. No stands but the bike does have a center stand. Thanks for the offers of helping I'm away this weekend but I'll give some of you guys a buzz next week. Again I appreciate the offer to help.
