I replaced the crap chock that came with it and replaced it with one of the chocks they sell. I also had to drill new holes to reposition the tie down U bolts for better angles for my rachet straps. Other than that I've done nothing to it and I've had mine for 6 years. Still works very well but I don't raise/lower it every day either.

My Handy lift has a wheel clamp instead of chock. No need for tie downs with a clamp..

The one thing I wish it came with was an easy means to steer the end of the table when loaded with a bike. The fixed wheel end is a bitch to slide sideways. Higher end tables can be bought with a 2-wheel "tow" bar that lets you lift just enough weight off the fixed wheel end to steer it around in the garage. Sooner or later the bike will get tipped off the table and then I guess I'll get around to making one.
Anyway, congrats on the new table.
I guess Handy lifts have the bar listed as a dolly for just $65.

Handy's are nice lifts if you can afford them. One of these days I'll have one.

And don't believe everything you think.
These little scissor tables are a great accessory.
