on a kawasaki zr-750 c1?
it's a clamshell (top/bottom) style case, and we have an air hammer/chisel, but haven't given it a shot yet. Anybody have any experience or tips that might help?

It's Japanese motorcycle, you should never ever,ever, ever need an air chisle or hammer, sounds like you forgot a bolt. Double check every thing. You may need just a slight tap with a dead blow hammer to break the bond, but no more than a tap. If you need more help[, bring it down and I'll split them for you. Cases are big mopney.....
