New LED blinker with LED flasher not working right

I installed a tail tidy on my new 501, along with an LED flasher relay. Everything is working as it should EXCEPT that the rear blinkers are flashing on the wrong side. It’s a one piece brake and blinker unit. At first I thought maybe I had installed it upside down, but no, it’s in right. I checked all the connectors and they seem to be connected in the only way that they could be connected. I emailed the tail tidy manufacturer, but while I’m waiting to hear back anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

You have some wires swapped. Use a multimeter, lightbulb, or 12v probe and find them. No other way.

I am quite certain that the connectors can not be installed any other way than I have them… maybe the kit was wired up wrong when put together?

So yeah, one of the connectors was wired backwards. The hard part was figuring out which one and how, I haven’t gotten the shop manual I ordered in the mail yet, but once I figured it out it was easy to fix.
