So, I just filled up a battery and have about a half a container of leftover acid. Any ideas as to what to do with it?

You could neutralize it with a base. First Ill say be careful about doing this. If you arent comfortable, dont do it. Baking soda will work, but depending upon the volume you have it could take a lot, and will probably be messy (lots of foam generated), but is probably the safest way. My prefered method is to dilute sodium hydroxide (lye, caustic soda) in water and add it SLOWLY to the acid. It'll take some patience, but saves on the mess and reduces the hazard. When it stops "fizzing" its neutral.
Or you could find a place to dispose of it, but thats no fun!
Oh and don;t use drano, there can be other stuff in there that reacts with the acid to make undesirables.

hmm damn, you could of solidified it, cush it up into a powder, arrange it into a few lines, invite some strippers over, pop some bottles, and just have a crazy, sick, drug and alcohol induced orgy-fest!.....at least thats what id do anyway...im just sayin is all..![]()
