a quick search scares me, don't want to buy garbage, but don't want to over pay either
tell us what you have, should I be looking for a set that also includes easy-outs ?

^ I have this set and just used it the other day. Granted it was just to get a small triangle-drive head screw out of plastic, but it’s came in handy a couple times in the past.
I also bought the left handed drill bit set, along with their screw extractor set. Man, for something so inexpensive, it's saved my ass many times now.

I have the Snap-on set and in my professional experience, if the bolt has broken off due to being seized by rust/corrosion, then there's no way a left-handed bit or spiral extractor is saving the day. It's just not going to grab enough to break the bond. I just use a regular right hand cobalt drill bit and helicoil if I have to.
I am a fan of KnKut drill bits. They do sell left-handed bits if you have to have them. And they are not outrageously priced.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
message I just got from Jeremystrange that I would think of reverse twist drills when my Tacoma is in the shopWe are still working on it. He is working on extracting the last bolt now, but the mount is right in the way and the access is terrible. We weren’t able to remove it with an easy out so we’ve had to drill it. Otherwise everything else is done.
My Silverado inspection runs out this weekend, the whole idea of 2 trucks was to have one roadworthy and legal when the other is down, kinda pissed a Jeremey, he's had the Tacoma since October, Silverado needs annual inspection and routine maintenance + CV joint (hopefully, 4wd goes clickity click) I hate to take it somewhere else, he certainly treats me right, price wise, and the work he does is not shoddy.
