A friend of mine has a 2001 Vstar 1100 that he bought a year or so ago. Recently he noticed that the fork seals appear to be gone (leaking pretty good), and the bike isn't running as smoothly as it used to. It sounds like the forks need to be rebuilt, and the carbs need to be cleaned.
Anyone up for the job? He was just going to take it to Cycles, but I told him to wait and see if I could find anyone else. I'd rather give the work to a good local mechanic or shop than a big dealer.
Thanks all!
