Anybody live or work near Boston that can loan me a chani rivetor tool for my new 530 chain? I only need it for Saturday so I can do my upgrade.
I won't loan mine but if you can make it up to NHMS this weekend I'll happily do it up for you.
Not going to be able to get up there but thanks for the offer. Have you ever done it with a ball peen hammer and a c clamp. I read some where that you can do it as long as you are careful to only slightly mushroom the heads and measure the master link thicknes.
I trust the tool and nothing else.
You wouldn't change your oil by punching a hole in the pan, would ya?
Roll down a window in your car by throwing a brick through it?
Cut down a tree in your yard by burning down the entire neighborhood?

I won't lend my tool out, since the last person damaged it.
but I'll offer to help an evening next week.
