Can someone please tell me the difference between Motul 300v VS. 7100? Is the 300v a race formula?? It seems to be more expensive, is it worth it?
7100 - full synthetic designed for street and some track days
300v - full synthetic designed for racing (constant high RPM's)
7100 - maroon colored
300v - antifreeze green colored
If you want a full breakdown, I can get a detailed email from my Motul guy.
Oh goodie! An oil thread!

Good info Jim, thanks for the help. Thanks for the link Gino. I ended up getting 7100 but next time I'll get 300v. Think the 7100 is a bit cheaper.
