Chain wax (not spray)

I'm looking for this chain wax in a can that you heat up and immerse the chain in.

"Chain Wax is a traditional treatment for the lubrication of non O-ring (open MX type) chains. When heated on a stove, the special Chain Wax with Graphite additive will melt and will clean and lubricate the non O-Ring (open MX type) chain. It will penetrate deep into the chain. Chain Wax, with a little more effort than with a spray-can, the best lubrication for non O-Ring chains."

Anyway, in the meantime, is there a similar product available hereabouts?

They have been around for years and years. Haven't seen that product in bike shops for a long time though. Only for non o ring of course.

Long time ago, we'd pour some gear lube in a pan, add some grease, add chain, bring to near boil, let cool. But do it outside on a hotplate.

Same here, for MTB. And there's a ton of chain wax choices for MTB and Road bikes. But I wonder if the White Lightening is good for a dirt bike chains given how thin it is? It's almost water-like viscosity.

I have a bottle of Pedro's Ice Wax, which is fairly thick. But even if you did want to use a bike wax, I think it's going to end up costing quite a bit to have enough to soak in.

Thanks, I do use the Chain Wax (brand) in a can, sometimes I use Klotz racing synthetic. For my two vintage Triumphs, I have recently installed new 530 chains, and I have one spare good used chain. I want to keep the spare ready to go by boiling it in oil or chain wax or grease something, then every 1000 miles more or less, pull the "old" one off and start over again, keep 'em rotating.

These are non-o-ring chains, soaking them is part of proper service. To each his own, eh? Anyway, my question was, where can I get this kind of chain wax, not how should I take care of my chain. But thank you for sharing your opinion.

Yes, thanks, that's kind of what I'm leaning toward, the wax is a vehicle for delivering the graphite. (Instead of my "old days" method of using gear lube plus wheel bearing grease, which flings off and attracts dirt.)
