high rpm don't hurt oil one bit, most severe service on oil is short trips that don't allow oil to completely vaporize contaminates and lugging the engine

10w-40 4t. Why would you use a lighter oil for hot temps and high RPM?
those should both be the same when at engine operating temp

So glad I did a change at 2,500 miles and 2 trackdays.... Huge difference in shifting. Would rather spend the $ more more frequent changes (I will probably do one even sooner after the next track days) for major increase in performance :shredder:
