I am going to NJMP in Aug. I will be swaping out my pp 2ct to the pures and changing the oil. My question is, since I will be at the track for two days, should I change my oil when I get back home?

Good to know... I was gonna go 3,000 on full synthetic but am at 2,500 with 2 trackdays... Guess I'd better do it sooner rather than later...
I change my oil prior to and immediately after even a one day at the track. I view changing the filter as a per-situation decision but typically changed every other oil change.
Just sayin'.
This is with a street bike so my post was based on street miles prior to track time. The race bike, however, is handled a bit differently.
there's no such thing as changing your oil too often.

Yes it will be. I talked to a few people and taking into consideration of what was said here on the board, I think when I get back I will do the oil cchange. By the time the trackdays roll around I will prob have 3000 or 3500 miles since the valve adjustment. The other Mike (ducatimichael) on born said he would give me a hand doing it.

If it was me I would change it before the TD and then maybe 1000 miles after, but that's just me.
When I did my first track days on the 900RR two years ago, I had 2000 miles on the oil when I did the track day and ride over 1500 more afgtr I did a two-day event.
Two years and 5000 miles later, it's still running like perfectly at just over 33000 miles. But, of course, it's a Honda.
