I WANT THAT IN MY LIFE
I KNOW RIGHT!! you know how many hours i've spend trying to fix a fucked up bolts.
This thing is genius, i think well worth the price of admission.
Or you can go to Harbor Freight and pick up a full drill, tap, and die set for half the money...
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
They do make split thread chasers, you know.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
I would use that once a year, and it would be so worth having that one time...

After reading the title, I thought this was another investment thread. Looks like a neat tool.

I'm not as excited as the rest, especially for those kind of prices. Thread chaser or file for me for the handful of times a year I'd want it. It needs a quick change bit on the end to be perfect.
But I swear those bolts with the chamfered tip feed in easier. So there is an advantage over thread chasing.

This is great but the end of the bolt or stud after use will be unplated if it is steel which most bolts are, which means it will rust very quickly. OK for a quick fix but better to replace if possible!

I cant tell you how many times I cut a bolt, THEN REALIZE I FORGOT TO THREAD THE NUT ON FIRST so that after I add a little chamfer with the bench grinder, you back the nut off and it cleans the threads.
fuck it, im buying one
The hard one too, for $65
edit: $73.21 with shipping, this thing better put a chamfer on my weiner
