I have a '05 Suzuki SV650 and swapped a GSXR front end onto the bike. The rotors would rub so i replaced them. I replaced them with EBC wave rotors. The issue I am having is: The SV speedo is a hall effect sensor. The original GSXR rotors had 8 magnets for the hall effect sensor. The EBC rotors only have place for 6 magnets. This is making my speedo read terribly off. I have been riding like this for a while and it always slips my mind. Right at the end of the season, I forgot my speedo was off, and was pulled over and received a very high ticket. I am trying to figure out how can I fix this issue? Someone has told me a speedohealer, but this seems like it would correct the issue if I had a tire size change or sprocket size change. I am having issues with the amount of magnets my hall effect sensor is reading. I went from 8 to 6.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to have this resolved. Or point me to the right shop that could fix this
Any information is very much appreciated.

Speedohealer may work in that you could possibly calibrate an offset to compensate for the reduction in magnets
Is the speed display smooth enough at lower speeds?
BUMP. Anyone else know if a speedohealer would work?
