Thinking about putting race bodywork on my 2016 GSX-R750 as don’t ever ride it on the street.
Seems like the two brands most readily available are Armour, Hotbodies, and Sharkskinz.
Are they available locally or ordered from an outfit like Sportbike Track Gear?
Any “gotchas?”

Also, Armour/Woodcraft says their kit won’t fit the stick exhaust, apparently due to the catalytic reactor?

You may be able to send an email to woodcraft and setup a local pickup.
generally speaking, you wont fit an OEM exhaust on any race lower.
hotbodies is crap. they crack in shipping.
armour bodies is local and shipping is $50 if within new england
sharkskinz is great, but shipping from get ya. i think they're in georgia.
Sew - I gotta get another exhaust? Or can I just replace the section with the cat? Will the ECU figure that out or do I need a retune?

Most track day orgs up here don’t require a belly pan so you could just go without the belly until you decide to fork over the cheese on either a cat delete or new pipe and tune.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
beginner groups usually dont require a belly pan, so you'd be fine for a little bit.
also as duncan mentioned, you can get something that'll fit a race lower without needing a full system.
you shouldnt need a new tune if only swapping a cat-back system. it may back fire on decel, but who cares. getting an ECU flash/tune is more when you change things more drastically like leaded race fuel, full system, thin head gasket, etc.
Bought an Armour Bodies kit from Woodcraft and the necessary Hindle exhaust.
Received yesterday. The Armour parts are beautifully made, a quick scuff and they should be ready to paint.

Yeah, definitely scuff them up and add some adhesion promoter or another layer of primer. I have two sets that I prepped with some 600 grit and then rattle canned and the paint just does not stick to the primer that is on the bodywork. Literally peels right off when I pull stickers off of it. Have tons of chips where the paint flecked off. I might have gone too high with the 600 grit for a prep and should have done 400 instead?
Love the bodywork, great quality, I just did not have luck with off the shelf automotive aerosol paint and the primer the bodywork comes with.
Usually scuff is 320 or 400.
