Anyone aware of tire changing spots in the south shore area? Looks like Chris's spot in West Bridgewater closed down.

If you look down, you go down. That may be fun at an orgy, but it sucks on a bike
He can be a tough guy to get ahold of sometimes but I'm pretty sure Mike at Gallery Motorsports in Rockland can help you out. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100054387555352

I haven't gotten around to buying the motorcycle "kit" but yes, I should be able to do them with my machine.

I ordered the rim clamp set, but I'm not throwing down 200 for a balancer if you're happy using beads.
I've been using one of the spin static balancers. No complaints yet! Can't remember which one or where I got it though. My memory sucks, but I think it was less than $75.00 shipped. Works like a charm from sportbikes to baggers.
DISCLAIMER: I don't offer tire changing services. A few of us just muscle 'em off & on with spoons and use my balancer.
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?

Not related to balancers (I've had 100's of trouble free changes with my Atlas electronic balancer, "knocks on wood..."), but I recently got a pair of these "rim clamps". So incredibly helpful when installing tires in cold weather, it's like having two extra hands.

The rim clamps arrived. PM me to do your wheels.
I'll be in touch soon, with all the nice weather we've been having I'll probably be needing some new rubber on a couple bikes within a month or so.
offering $10 tire changes this month, PM me.
not for tubes.. you people can't handle tubes..
goes for cars too. car tires come with a balance
I don't have a balancer tool for bikes so you must use beads.

the best parts about being a private mechanic:
- telling your customers what you really think
- charge whatever you want
- skipping whatever job you don't want
I screwed up 4/6 of those wheel changes because never did a rimlock before. Not even seeing the error and especially not getting a chance to fix them to instead getting lambasted means I get to use the best of the best part about being a private mechanic:
- firing your customer
So bring me your bike and car tires this month. I'll put in the work to get word of mouth back.
$10/tire with dynamic balance included for cars and trucks, up to 20" diameter rims
You can get the tires shipped direct, no need to bring anything but a clean wheel.
(I'm not washing your wheels for $10, and your balance depends on a clean rim)
Walmart and Amazon usually have the best shipped prices.
Can fix TPMS codes and TPMS sensor replacement and reprogramming as well, $10 more
I probably will limit to 4 wheels/customer, but not a hard rule.
I can also reprogram TPMS for moving wheels to other cars, or to make summer/winter pairings.
Here is an old guide on what fits what if you want to swap some wheels:

I do check, but those wheels were done at night, in the dark, using a 12v shop light, and then put out for next day. The fluorescent lights have been shot for about 2 weeks, and shiny T8 LED tubes arrive later today, so that problem is almost solved.
