    removing lowering link

I was wondering if anyone could either explain how to bring my 02 r6 back up to stock height or give me a hand doing it. i can repay with either cash or beer or photos of x girlfriends that i no longer want.

Have to find the stock linkage before any of this can happen but hoping to do this some night in 2 weeks since ill be gone all of this coming week.

    Any help would be awesome

find an overhead structure that you can throw a strap or rope over.. ideally 2 ratcheting tie down straps, so you can hang the back of the bike by the subframe at the proper height.
you should have an extra set of hands to stabilize the bike since it won't be real stable being hung by the subframe (just enough to lift the rear wheel off the ground)

then just unbolt lowering link, install stock item, including any/all sleeves/washers/etc, torque, lower to ground and enjoy.

one thought, if the rear was lowered the front was too probably.. so you'll have to fix that as well. usually accomplished by dropping the tubes through the tree to flush or whatever the proper install height is.

If you have a rear (swingarm) stand: lift bike w/ rear stand, support the bike w/ automotive jack stands under peg mounts (not the folding pegs obviously) or via a solid metal bar thru the swingarm pivot, remove rear stand. Now rear is unloaded.

It may help to loosen the bolts a bit before lifting the bike. Otherwise ya might knock it over if trying to crack them loose while its up on the stands.
