05 Kawi 636 has about 4k on it,blowing some white smoke on deceleration.
Could it be the rings or valve seals? If its smoking on decel I don't think it's the pc-3 with a rich condition.
Any ideas????

Is it overheating or losing coolant?
- headgasket, take a look at the oil for a milky color.
Is this the first ride of the year?
- Water in the gas (condensation)
- Dried valve seals
- Blow by from the rings not sealing
- Keep an eye on the oil level.

If it's the first ride of the year, and you put STABIL in the tank, sometimes Stabil will cause a white smoke, on warmup and hard decel.

What kind of oil?
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Oil would be blue smoke. White is either unburnt fuel or water/anti freeze.
You suck at life. Why don't you quit?

I use kawi chem oil for a while now and didn't have any problems until recently. I did have the stabil in the tank during the winter, but it was still smoking after I filled it with some fresh gas. So it could be most likely the rings or valve seals which will suck, only because the bike only has 4000 miles on it.
Im hoping it has somthing to do with the power commander maybe running a little rich. Anyways I'll have to do a little more searching and hopefully it'll be something simple.

I'd keep a close eye on the oil and coolant levels as well as the temp gauge and ride it for a while before I did anything. The valve seals and rings could just need to loosen up and swell up after sitting all winter. If the power commander concerns you - take it out and put the bike back to stock, and see if the problem goes away.

You know itthats exactly what im gonna do. I spoke to a friend of mine who works at gbm and said it doesn't appear to be anything major. He thinks its just condensation in thw air and he hasn't seen anything bad on the kawi's. So im just gonna ride the shit out of it till it drops dead.
