I was at BOMO yesterday. Bike was backfiring like crazy and it stalled in turn 3. (I had put in fresh gas and it was running fine at Tony's on May 21st.)
I called Seacoast, Souhegan, and Plaistow. Seacoast said they could take a look Saturday morning but if it is anything that requires more than about an hour of work then they won't have time to fix it.
The other two were booked.
I'm still learning how to to work on my bike and do not want to start taking things apart so close to a track day.
Can anyone recommend a shop that would work on an SV and be able to have it ready for Monday? Otherwise I'll bring it to Seacoast on Saturday and hope it is something simple.
Thanks.
Call tony Martin at the pit stop in New Bedford. He has a dyno too, so he can get that thing purring efficiently at the same time.

Worst case scenario, come up the night before, bring some snacks & a couple 6 packs & we'll dive into it.

I'd check the coils and connections. OR for water down the spark plug hole front cylinder, but only if you've ridden in the rain.
I know you said you don't wanna work on your bike. But if a buddy tears into it, have him check those things as well as plugs like chuck said.
