Running rough

Starts fine, idles fine
popping noises when I let off the throttle through the whole rpm range. (loud)
Two flat spot while under hard acceleration 3k rpm and 5.5rpm

Air filter is a little dirty ... But I don't think it will cause this.. Haven't had a chance to pull the plugs yet..

Sounds like something to do with timing to me. CDI or valve issue? I`ll be watching this thread for obvious reasons. Good luck sorting thos one out.

hmm.... I do not know when the last valve adjustment was.... What brake rotors do you have... Mine are colored the same as the frame was originally stock... Looks much better gold like you have...

EBC X rotors up front. One finger stopping with the EBC HH pads. Put a zx6r front fender on for a lot less noise and I think a better look.Thanks Any luck with your motor problem?

start with the basics. clean the carbs, new plugs etc.
