Hmm, I think we're allowed to ride on beaches down here. Maybe some offroad motard fun!

Give it a good spray with WD-40, then wipe said rust off. Most will come off with a rag. Then keep that thing goobed up with a chain wax.

    Re: Rusty Chain

If it's non O ring, wire brush it, O'ring, soak it in kerosene but that wont remove the rust, only the crud! Try a brass wire brush at 90 degrees to each side plate so you dont hit the O rings if it really bothers you and you can be bothered!! (dont forget to clean and lube afterwards if using an wire brush)

There's a reason stretched busas and Harleys are so popular down there. The only handling trait you need to woody about is straight line stability.

I saw a real motard a couple months ago with cords showing down the center. I almost cried.
And the longer I live here the more I wanna trade in my KTM for one of those XR1200 dealies.

    Dolla Bill!!!

As far as the FL riding goes, anytime I tell the story about my trip from St Pete on the FJR I bought, I always say that the best part about Florida was the sign that reads "Now Entering Georgia".

Just looked at Miami on google maps cause I thought there might not be a bone straight road somewhere. LOL wow. That and knowing the Everglades is a swamp that big kinda weirds me out.

Had no choice, nowhere indoors to keep it. Finally got a place, need to clean it up.

Cept its a criminal charge to pull up a power wheelie out of a uturn, let alone a good one.

The only road with turns are the long sweeps entering palmeto prkwy, there is a road up in ft laud that runs north south and east west, that has a turn in it , unless they straightened it out .
