    but only when you actually put it in the bike.... just a tip.

    Antifreeze is good

    Dunno... i drained what water I could, poured some antifreeze in there, let the ice melt & fired it up... it leaked a little bit around the water pump once the system was under pressure, but as long as it's just the water pump seal, that's easy enough to fix.

    Oooh... Hope you didn't pop yer freeze plugs man. Those things are a PITA to fix. Make sure you dong have a milkshake in your oil-pan.

    Dood! I posted a reminder when it started getting cold. It's best to drain the damn thing right at the track after your last race of the year...

    Yeah, I'm gonna give it a good go-through next warm weekend and check everything I can.



    Not all the water froze. I drained what i could out of the radiator first, then got a decent amount out of the block from the water pump drain hole. I then filled the system w/ antifreeze to melt what ice was left, let it melt for a couple hours, topped it off & fired it up. The only thing that was leaking was the water pump seal. I removed the water pump & there was no damage. The system seemes to be holding water.

    I'll check the oil to see if it's milky at all, do an oil change & let it run for a bit to see what happens.

    Its just an EX, but I'm fresh out of EX motors I can give away! My last one went to biggles!

    If it popped the freeze plugs, and you let it idle for awhile, you'd know pretty quickly that you had an issue. Definitly check the oil. The freeze plugs are in there pretty good, but ice is powerful stuff...
