There is a BMW Airhead* Tech Day Saturday 5/4 at Duncan’s Beemers in Maynard. Starts at 9. He will have some maintenance parts available. Hopefully an oil filter.

I’m trailering mine so I can bring tools, and will have the stand. Haven’t been to one before so don’t know what facilities are available. The R90/6 is notorious for the numb front brake. A cable leads from the bars to the master cylinder under the fuel tank, then down to the brake, the ATE caliper has an adjustment and I don’t know if mine is working as well as expected, or needs adjustment.

Don’t know if any of you were there but it was a great event. They had three lifts going, plenty of parts and expertise.

I got help adjusting the front [ATE] caliper, replaced all the fuel lines and changed oil and filter. Duncan was a huge help.
