RK.
I have both RK and MP... No real comparison. Should have just bought the RK to start.
The MP is nice for cam chains.

I have the motion pro jumbo one, but you gotta stock up on pins.

I use a cheapo breaker and just use the RH to set plate depth and to deform the rivets.

Grease the backside of the pin on the RK. Broke the first one that came with mine and quickly discovered it's ~15 to replace it. Haven't had an issue since after adding a dab of grease to the well where the pin resides.
Jim, I just got the MP PBR if you want to try it out before purchasing either or? I'll ship it asap. I don't need it right now.

All I can say, Jim, is I've had mine for about 7 years and broke that one pin. I could not guess how many chains it's replaced but I know it's up over 10 and shows no signs of wearing out.
wait a minute. YOU'VE used it? I think you meant to say "Degsy and Brett have the MP one, so they've used it on my bike"

I had a motion pro "jumbo" tool. Someone borrowed it and never returned it. Don't remember who. I have the standard mp tool now and it works fine. If I was buying a new chain tool I'd be buying the DID one. I like the way it is very accurate with centering the flaring pin to the rivet.
