    Tank painting in central MA

    Hi all,

I would like to get my CB750 tank, side covers, and fender painted over the winter. Anyone know of someone in the area that does this without me having to ship it all out to Timbuk2? Also, looking for deals on getting the decals. I have found a set for $175. Anyone with older bikes out there have good online leads in this department?

There's a guy in lancaster, MA. His name is Pete Petkauskos, petescustompaint.com, he is absolutely rediculous and his prices should be very competitive. Tell him Corey Baker referred you!

Nice punch buggy! You spray outside or do you have a booth / indoor setup at home?

    What colors?

I need the bodywork off my '82 750F painted soon too, will also be needing all the decals. You black/red?

I'm sure going in together we could get a better price

    Yep, black/red

Look forward to seeing some quotes.

A friend of mine swears that with a little muscle, a lot of swearing, a glass of wine, and easy on the coats of paint that I could do this myself. (well, the glass of wine wasn't mentioned but I figured it couldn't hurt) Anyway, that's still a consideration but I'm not sure I trust my painting abilities... And from what I understand, warmer weather is needed before painting????

Thanks for the offer. I'm still in the discovery phase of what I want and may wind up doing it myself with the help of a friend. But, then again, I tend to screw things up so I may need the help!

Re: Tank painting in central MA

I highly recommend Landric's Customs.. Rich did my R6 tank over after i put it down in turn 11. He not only pulled the 5" puck dent that i had but he gave it a paint job that was better than factory! Rich nows his stuff and only does QUALITY work on anything he does..
He is worth giving a call to.
